My name is
Matt Grocott (background), candidate for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. My campaign began by talking to friends. If you like what you see here, please tell your friends! As they say, if ten people tell 10 people, who also tell 10 people --- imagine the results by election day on
Tuesday, June 8, 2010!
- Independent voice with a common sense approach
- No special interests endorsements
- San Mateo County business owner
During my three terms on the San Carlos City Council, I have had the reputation of being an independent voice for the people. Folks know
I am not swayed by special interests, polling, or even necessarily the staff's analysis on an issue. I am the one to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo when it is needed.
Each time I campaigned for council, I did so without the typical list of endorsements candidates usually have. My campaigns were always a grass-roots effort. Endorsements were not needed because the difference was made up with plenty of friends and supporters!
The result is a record that shows, I consider the impact to the citizens, to the average working family or small business owner, before I cast my vote. As your county supervisor, my pledge will be to keep the same grounding.
